Amanda grew up in Dayton, NV. She is in her fourteenth year of coaching volleyball after coming to NNJ from Feather River College where she was an assistant coach for seven years. She is currently in her sixth season of coaching at NNJ and also is the assistant varsity coach at Bishop Manogue High School.

As a player Amanda was a three sport athlete throughout high school playing volleyball, basketball and softball. She attended Butte College and Feather River College before transferring to play volleyball at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. 

A fun fact about Amanda is her very favorite holiday of the year is Nevada Day.
