Nate grew up in Southern California, before moving to Monterey.

He has been coaching for 16 years. He has coached at the varsity level for Whittell High School and Galena High School. He was the head coach at Pine Middle School for six years. Before coming to NNJ, Nate coached at Silver State Volleyball Club. He has coached at all age divisions at the club level.

As a player, he played three years of varsity volleyball at Monterey High School as a middle and also participated in boys club. Notably, his club team qualified for the Junior National Championships. 

A fun fact about Nate, he doesn’t like vegetables.
