Amy Chin grew up in Moraga, CA in the East Bay Area. She has been coaching volleyball on and off since she was in high school, but specifically club volleyball for five years.

She has coached for a youth association in high school, coached middle school in Orinda in 2017, coached for Vibe Volleyball Club, head coached 15's and 16's age groups at NNJ and currently is the JV and assistant varsity coach at Damonte Ranch.

Amy’s previous play experience includes playing for several clubs in the East Bay, including Golden Bear and NorCal. She also played in high school at Campolindo and played a couple years of club at the University of Arizona. 

A fun fact about Amy is she is adopted.
